Founded in Santa Clara, California, in 1944 with the mission of providing forged flanges and other components for Pacific shipyards during World War II, Western quickly became one of the largest forgers in the state. The markets for Western’s forged parts expanded to include diverse military, petrochemical, and nuclear applications. In 2007, we relocated to Cleveland, Texas, for faster access to the critical supply chain and an international port facility, allowing us to serve leading energy and petrochemical companies more efficiently.
